In 2003 Chrome touched the airwaves of ZIP 103 FM and helped to build one of Jamaica’s premiere radio stations, as he quickly became one of the most prolific and loved disc jocks. As his fan base grew, so did the demand for appearances making him a staple locally and internationally. He has received multiple awards for Disc Jock of the year both from Zip 103FM and award shows.
2007 saw him expanding his network, and forming his record label CR203 Records. His first release featured Beenie Man, and two of dancehall’s newest sensations of that time Vybz Kartel and Mavado with whom he has since made numerous hits.
Chrome produced Vybz Kartel’s number one track ‘Clarks’ which also launched the career of Dancehall Artist Popcaan. The working chemistry with Kartel created other hits such as Dancehall Hero, Bicycle, Stronger We Get plus more.
With other hits under his belt such as Mavado’s Hope and Pray, Mr Vegas’ Gallis, Tifa’s Move Ya Body, the historic collaboration with Bounty Killa and Elephant Man ‘This is How We Do It’ and Popcaan’s Head Bad, he continued to make an impact on the dancehall industry. Chrome’s catalogue also includes tracks with Sean Paul, Kranium, Charley Black, Busy Signal, Aidonia, Alkaline, Bugle, Konshens, Dexta Daps, Spice and many more.
In 2010 he released his first Reggae rhythm called Cardiac Bass, the first of his Cardiac Reggae Series, which included Cardiac Strings and Cardiac Keys. These riddims spawned hits such as Christopher Martin’s Cheater’s Prayer which was later remixed by Jim Jones, and the track Paper Loving. His Reggae releases include hit tracks from Reggaes finest Jah Cure, Alaine, Tarrus Riley, I Octane and Cecile among others.
In 2015, Chrome released his first studio album MUSIC WITHOUT RULES (MWR) The release of MUSIC WITHOUT RULES made Chrome the first Jamaican Disc Jock/Producer to release a complete studio album.
His most recent releases include the Between The Lines Riddim and Humongous Riddim which features Busy Signal, Masicka, Shenseea, Vybz Kartel, Chris Martin, Romain Virgo, Cecile, Padrino & More.
Chrome remains one of the most sought after Disc jocks, Audio Engineers and Producers in Jamaica today.
